Don't take our word for it. Measure it yourself.

Ten interactive demonstrations run in a browser with no sign-up and no phone call, on real survey and research data. Each says what it shows and where its data came from, so the claim can be checked rather than believed.

Stockpile survey

An aggregate pit rebuilt in 3D from 158 drone photographs. Click round a pile for its volume, cut a section through a bench, read any height. Differenced against a terrestrial laser scan of the same ground: 43,698 cells compared, 9 cm median difference, 97.5% within 25 cm.

Terrain and canopy

Airborne laser scanning that measures the trees and the ground beneath them in one flight. 5,081,020 returns over forested Canadian Shield in Muskoka, Ontario. Our bare earth lands on the province's own ground points to a 0 cm median — under dense canopy, on points it never saw; 95% within 13 cm.

Change over time

The same quarter square kilometre of lakeshore scanned in 2018 and 2023 by different aircraft. 259,842 square metres compared, 3,303 cubic metres raised and 3,131 lowered — and 91,951 square metres explicitly marked no claim, where the two flights disagree about where the ground is.

Photoreal 3D model and point cloud

A dense textured mesh built from 172 drone photographs with every photograph placed, and the survey skeleton behind it showing the drone's actual flight path — how coverage is proven before anything is delivered.

Thermal survey

Per-pixel calibrated temperature from a drone thermal survey of a solar installation, 27.2 °C to 49.1 °C across one scene. Hover for a reading, click two points to compare, draw a box round a component for its statistics.

Vegetation health

Multispectral crop and canopy analysis, a whole maize field graded plot by plot with three weeks of growth on a slider.

Defect, heat-loss and crop-weed surveys

Facade defect tracing, roof heat loss and crop-versus-weed counting. These three demonstrations are shown with the research datasets' expert labels while Northline's own detectors are trained — each page says so. They are not presented as Northline detections.

How to read these numbers

Measurements are scan-derived and accurate to roughly a centimetre. They are evidence to support expert review, not survey-grade, and never an automatic compliance verdict. Demonstrations run on published public datasets, each credited on its page; the reconstruction, the solve and the measurements are Northline's.
